Golf should be a fair game.

A green book helps golfers understand the slopes and contours that shape each putt. I started making them for junior golfers because I believe every player should have access to the information that helps them prepare—not just those who can afford to pay a premium for it.

Golf is at its best when the difference comes from the work you put in, the decisions you make, and the skills you build. So I taught myself how to create these books—and built Lucas Green Book to make that knowledge easier for more golfers to access.

Making Lucas Green Book

I build each book from public course data, including OpenStreetMap, USGS 3DEP LiDAR, and published scorecards. Custom software I wrote with AI turns that information into hole layouts, yardages, slopes, and contours.

The finished pages are printed on glare-reducing matte cardstock, trimmed to fit most scorecard holders, and held in a custom binding I designed and 3D-printed.
